Carvieira Handicrafts Ecuador: History

Carvieira Handicrafts was created in 2003 under the name of Carvieira Artesanias when its owner, Carla Vieira, managed a handicrafts shop in Guayaquil - Ecuador. As well as in her shop, Carla used to participate in exhibitions around Ecuador. Peru, Colombia and USA were other countries where Carla promoted the Ecuadorian handicrafts.

In 2008, Carvieira Artesanias changed its name for Carvieira Handicrafts Ecuador and published its first Website wwww.carvieira.com, reaching international markets. In June 2011, this portal was inaugurated (www.carvieirahandicrafts.com), in order to continue doing what Carvieira Handicrafts loves to do the most: to proudly promote the work of Ecuadorian artisans by selling their products.

Carvieira Handicrafts Ecuador also participates in well know A&P Shows around New Zealand.

The team of Carvieira handicrafts in Ecuador and New Zealand supports the work of Ecuadorian hands and viceversa, within the nature of the 'Fair Trade' movement. Our team gives you the welcome to this portal, and please remember, our products were handmade specially for you!
