"This is the second time I placed an order with Carla at Carviera Handicrafts. I emailed Carla to check about a product from Ecuador that is not featured on her website. I just wanted to know whether it would be possible to get it. The product was the white shirts (for men) made of canvas fabric that have beautiful embroidery done by the Native artisans of Otavalo. Carla responded right away and said that she could certainly get those for me. She asked me details of the measurements I would need for the shirts and within two days of our first email exchange, Carla had gotten the shirts purchased. She sent me pictures of the shirts and told me that if I would like to make any changes, I could let her know. I was very happy with the shirts and I told her that she could go ahead with the shipping. She got them shipped the next day and within seven business days I had them at my door step in Canada. I truly appreciated that Carla went out of her way to get these shirts for me. It shows her excellent customer service skills and how much she cares for her customers. All the products she is selling on her website are truly unique and beautiful. They show the talent and skills of the Otavalo artisans and the best thing is that Carla has made it so convenient to get these products almost anywhere in the world. Whenever my heart misses Ecuador and I want to get something from there, I know that I can ask Carla and she will try her best to send it to me. In our world, where almost everything now is made in one country, it is so heartwarming that a person like Carla understands the need to bring original and unique handicrafts to our homes.
