Otavalo Rectangular cloth
Do you remember that beautiful tablecloth that you spot or bought on your last trip to Otavalo, Ecuador? We might be able to send you another or to produce something very similar for you! Do you have a specific dinning room table size that would love to dress with one of our tablecloths? Our Carvieira Handicrafts Team could make it possible.
In order to design tablecloths & table runners, the artisans of Otavalo - Ecuador, use a blend of natural wool and fibres of Orlon> pigmented in beautiful colors. Then, they hand-weave a variety of patterns with symbols of their indigenous culture. We have available three shapes of tablecloths: rectangular, oval and circular. They mostly came in bright colors but also in brown, black and pearl tones. The most popular patterns are fish and chismosas althought we offer a third option 'Indio' (a mix of random icons). Our sets came with 6 or 8 matching napkins.

Our rectangular tablecloths do not came in sets with matching napkins but if you need them we could add a set for an extra fee but please check with us first for fabric availability.
The tablecloths, tablerunners and napkins can be machine washed in a regular or delicate cycle (althought handwash is recommended) and air dried. Our linen do not require ironing.

The icons in these tablecloths vary. Patterns might include llamas, dreamcatchers, indigenous, sun, mud pots and/or other ethnic icons.
